BASEBALL—You can see the Baltimore
Orioles play
ball from April to October. If there is a home game when
you are in this area. The O’s plays at Oriole Parke
at Camden Yard, 333 W. Camden St. (ph # 410-685-9800). The
Afternoon games are usually at 1.35 pm and the evening games
at 7.35 pm. It’s a real Baltimore experience. Ticket
prices range from $9 to $32.00.
FOOTBALL— You can see
the Baltimore Ravens play at the M&T Stadium next to
the Camden Yards. The ticket prices range from $ 17.00 to

HORSE
RACING-- Pimlico
Racecourse is Maryland’s
oldest thoroughbred track and the site of the annual Preakness
Stakes. Located off Park Heights Avenue at Hayward and Winners
Avenue, Pimlico Racecourse is about 5 miles from the Inner
Harbor. (It’s also the place where Seabiscuit made
history beating Triple Crown Winner War Admiral.) From
April to September is the racing season. The Preakness racing
in on the third Saturday of May. If you are in the area during
this time it is a wonderful experience that you can have
and brag about it to your friends and family at home.
INDOOR
SOCCER—The Baltimore
Blast team play from October
through April. It combines sport with show business during
introductions and halftime. The games are played at the First

LACROSSE—The
Baltimore Bayhawks lacrosse team is the 2002 MLL champion.
Games are played from May to August at Johns Hopkins University’s
